Recent orders are split into two separate tabs: Purchase Orders and Invoices.
Purchase Orders Tab
This tab shows orders that were placed and sent to your suppliers through FoodByUs.
- This is a static record; it reflects exactly what was ordered and does not change
- Each purchase order may show a linked invoice once one is received, or display “Invoice not linked” if no invoice has been received yet
Invoices Tab
This tab shows inbound invoices received from your suppliers.
A key change here: any invoice received on your behalf will now appear in this tab — even if the original order was not placed through FoodByUs.
Each invoice will show whether it has a linked purchase order. You may see:
- A linked purchase order — the most common case, where a FoodByUs order and its invoice are matched together
- “No Purchase Order Found” — the invoice was received, but the order was placed outside of FoodByUs
Why This Matters for Your Reports
Invoices processed through your dashboard now feed directly into your Reports, giving you a more complete view of your total spend, price changes, and supplier activity — regardless of where the order was originally placed.
To ensure your invoices are captured and displayed on your dashboard, share your Invoice Hub email address with your supplier. You can find your Invoice Hub email in the Invoice Hub section of your dashboard.
Tip: Ask all your suppliers, not just those you order from through FoodByUs, to send invoices to your Invoice Hub email. This ensures your spend reporting is complete and up to date.
